PROGRAM OUTCOMES

This B.Des program is designed for students who are interested in specializing in creating luxurious and immersive experiences through interior design. This program aims to provide students with a comprehensive understanding of the experiential and luxury design industry, including the latest trends, technologies, and materials used in the industry.

Through this course, students will gain knowledge and skills in storytelling, branding, spatial design, lighting design, furniture and fixture selection, material and finish selection, graphics and signage design, technology integration, and project management. Students will also develop their critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Thus he/she should have acquired the following-

1. Knowledge and understanding of the basics of design and their application in the field of interior design.

• A comprehensive understanding of the experiential and luxury design industry, including its history, evolution, and current trends.

2. Technical know-how to communicate their design and ideas through various types of drawings and graphics.

• How to create immersive and experiential interior design projects that engage all the senses.
• How to analyze and evaluate experiential and luxury design projects and their impact on society
  and culture.

3. Skills and competence in:

• Choosing the appropriate materials and services for an interior design project.
• Designing the interiors of all kinds of spaces as per the client’s requirements.
• Preparing estimates and work schedules for executing design projects.
• Designing landscapes for interior and exterior spaces.
• Application of principles of experiential and luxury design to their interior design projects,
• including the use of high-end materials, finishes, and technologies.
• Developing a professional portfolio of experiential and luxury interior design projects that
  showcase their skills and knowledge in the field.
